My first year voting ^_^ t'was rather fun. I got a paper cut from my sample ballod and everything!

So our presidential elections are over, I'm not happy with any of the results of this whole thing so far..so prop 8 had better pass or I'm going to be most distraught! I can't believe prop 4 was voted down so much and prop 2 passed. Have we really fallen so much that we care so much about the well being animals (that we're going to eat anyway, don't get me wrong, I love animals and want them to be taken care of, but prop 2 was uneccessary imo)but unborn babies are so"inconvenient" and unimportant that it doesn't matter if a girl just tosses it like marshmallow peep wrapping!? And why tell her parents? Why do they need to know right? ...Give me a break. I mean come on "oh some girls are afraid of their parents". IF YOU WENT AND GOT YOURSELF PREGNANT TO BEGIN WITH YOU HAD BETTER BE AFRAID OF YOUR PARENTS! -__-

That's my political banter...I is done now. Feel free to flame this if you want to, I don't really care. If I get to rant everyone else can too xD

I voted yes on Prop 2 (and no on 8, but I won't even go there with you lol)

Just because animals are going to be eaten doesn't mean we have to subject them to horrible living conditions and treat them inhumanely. 6' pigs in a 7' stall? Chickens cramped in battery cages they can't even move in? Is this how we should be treating living, breathing, sensitive animals? God's animals? I think we should be kind and thankful for God's creatures and respect them for the food we put on our plates, no? That's my view on it, and I'd be more than willing to pay what extra costs it takes to have that food than know that tortured animals get me cheaper meals.
